Madurai IAS Academy was founded by Mr.C. Dhooyamani D.F.O and inaugurated by Thiru. S. Saidai Duraisamy & Tmt. Malliga Duraisamy on 16.02. 2011. The Academy was started with the Goal to act as a catalyst by supporting the aspirants of the competitive examinations especially in the Southern Region of Tamil Nadu and focusing them towards the success on various departments of Competitive examinations.

The guiding philosophy of the Academy, throughout, has been creation of knowledge base. MIA inculcates human values and professional ethics in the students, which help them, make decisions that are good not only for them, but also for the society, for the nation, and for the world as a whole. To fulfill its mission in new and powerful ways, each student is motivated to strive towards achieving excellence in every endeavor. It is done by making continuous improvements in curricula and pedagogical tools. The rigorous syllabi not only instill in them, a passion for knowledge.

The Academy relentlessly works towards realizing the dream of Mr. C. Dhooyamani to reach to teach and train both the Tamil and English medium students to partake in the process of nation building by joining civil services.
